On one of his legendary baloon rides, Sir Richard Branson discovered an old Kasbah amidst the Atlas Mountains and turned it into a part of his Virgin Limited Edition, a portfolio of unique retreats and hotels worldwide. Today, Kasbah Tamadot is a divine hideaway set in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, only one hour drive from Marrakech. The 27 rooms and suites, including nine Berber Tents capture the spirit and charm of traditional Moroccan design with a contemporary twist. Formerly the home of Luciano Tempo, the renowned antiques dealer and interior designer, most rooms are decorated with artifacts from his vast collection. Go Wild – and do something good! Ulusaba Private Game Reserve is located in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Reserve near Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. It is part of Vigin Limited Edition and supports Sir Richard Branson’s charity project “Pride `n Purpose”, which focuses on the sustainable development initiatives and improving access to food, water and health services in the disadvantaged communities living adjacent to the Sabi Sand Reserve. Ulusaba Private Game Reserve has two beautiful lodges. Rock Lodge is on the summit of a koppie set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountain range far in the distance. Each room has been designed with the colours of a different African tribe or region. Rock Lodge includes Ulusaba’s newest addition, Cliff Lodge and can accommodate a total of 20 – 25 guests in its 11 rooms. Safari Lodge is built along the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed.
