Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa

Light-flooded rooms, an individual spa and wellness concept as well as culinary delights at a high level - the Klosterhof – Alpine Hideaway & Spa, which opened in 2016 in Bayerisch Gmain near Bad Reichenhall and near the festival city of Salzburg, has a lot to offer its guests amidst a unique mountain backdrop. The vision of the owner family Färber is to create connections. Connections between old and new, inside and outside, luxury and nature as well as between hosts and guests. Thus, the former economy of the Augustinian monks of the Monastery of St. Zeno, after the reconstruction and extension phase, has become a place that offers space for both physical and spiritual new forces.

There are 65 spacious panoramic rooms, spa lofts and suites available for guests. The panoramic rooms with balcony or terrace and large window fronts emphasize the natural feeling of living with custom-made furniture made of multi-faceted appletree wood and a centrally placed stele with significant contemporary original artworks. The spa lofts with their five-meter ceiling height are even more airy. On the gallery level is also a small private spa with panoramic whirlpool and infrared cabin. In the old building suite and the junior suites, the historic atmosphere of the old monastery courtyard is particularly preserved. The built-in furniture is executed according to the sleeping rooms of the wealthy farmers of the region in Swiss pine. Culinary, two individual restaurant concepts are available to the guests, under the credo creatively implemented local culinary culture, combined with regional ingredients that conjure up the freshness of the Alps on the plate. The culinary delights are offered at the hotel restaurant GenussArt, the rustic Klosterhofstuben or in good weather on the terrace with beer garden. The Weinarchivarium was designed as a treasure trove for fine wines and a tasting room for gourmets. In addition, LiterArt is an elegant library with floor-to-ceiling balcony windows, which not only contains a selection of literary works to browse through, but is also used for readings, lectures and concerts. The 1,500-square-foot, award-winning Artemacur Spa has an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, Finnish sauna, bio sauna and hammam, and Floating Alps Soledom. Yoga, meditation and mindfulness sessions complete the holistic wellness offer. The Artemacur health center is also located in the historic Klosterhof building. Here you learn the newly developed, diagnosis-based and -centered concept medicine of Dr. Andreas Färber which centers the patient as a person and individual. Individual prevention opens up new therapeutic options through a changed perspective and also improves the quality of life through philosophical aspects. With medical care and individual support by in-house personal trainer various health arrangements, such as "liver fasting" or "healthy weight loss" can be claimed.
