On February 4th 2012, Europe’s most successful fund-raiser event of sports, the 42nd “Ball of Sports” of the German Sports-Help Foundation took place. Next to many new approaches, like the campaign “Your name for Germany” and the “Sports-Help Germany Tour”, the “Ball of Sports” is still one of the most important fund raising pillar of the German Sports-Help.

Around 1.800 top representatives of sports, economics, media and culture were expected. The ticket cost 1.000 Euro, inclusive a donation for the Sports-Help. Just like in the last five years, the “Ball of Sports 2012” took place in the “Rhein-Main” halls in Wiesbaden. Also the beautiful island Frégate Island insisted to sponsor a voucher for this event. Along with Emirates Airlines, Frégate Island Private offered two Business Class Tickets, besides three dreamlike nights on Frégate Island Private, inclusive full board, amounting to 21.000 EUR.
