Besides the organization of appointments, the chaperonage and representation of our partners on all important tourism fairs in the luxury industry (i.e. ILTM Cannes, ILTM Asia, PURE Marrakesh, ITB Berlin, ITB Asia, INDABA, Travel Week Sao Paulo, ATM, etc.), the participation at selective road shows of reputable tour operators, the organization of familiarization trips and individual product presentations with clients, we recognized the needs of our partners and the market and developed individual and new event concepts.

The theme for the weekend was „007 – License for unforgettable moments”. The luxury hotel Grand Resort Bad Ragaz organized two exciting days for six travel agents (and partner) to smell the healthy fresh air of the ‘Heidiland’ and to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the hotel. Despite the great program, the participants had enough time to make their own experiences and to enjoy the property and the surroundings individually. So the agents made their personal unforgettable moments at 28°C.
Last week, at the restaurant „Procacci“, 15 travel agents listened to the newest storys from our Lobster and Little Lobster hotels.
While dining exclusive Italian food and wine the group enjoyed an interesting evening with the group.
Sabrina Spielberg, Sales Manager Northern Germany of the Forte Village Resort, joined the dinner as our special guest and provided with insider storys of the Forte Village Resort.
„Go West“ was yesterday. From May 28th until May 30th a part of the Little Lobster team and 15 luxury hotel partners WENT EAST for the first time. 130 Russian and Ukrainian top agents attended our three Little Lobster Events in Kiev, St. Petersburg and Moscow in order to listen to the storys and presentations of our (Little) Lobster Partners whilst enjoying excellent wine and food. Astrid Oberhummer, Owner and Managing Director of the Lobster Experience group, was very happy about the positive feedback from the CIS market: “The meetings were all very professional and successful. We had a lot of fun. The hospitality of the Russians and Ukrainians is very sincere.” One of the highlights was the boat trip of the hotel partners in St. Petersbourg. The “White Nights”, when the sun only goes down for a few hours, allowed the hotel partners to enjoy St. Petersbourg and the magical atmosphere of the city from the boat. Definitely an unforgettable business trip.
From May 23rd -27th, 2013 Lobster Experience invited a small, selected group to an eventful short trip to Paphos/Cyprus. All participants stayed at the luxury 5 star hotel Anassa, whose name means “queen” in ancient Greek. Therefore the group members could feel like kings themselves. Each of them enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment within a luxurious roman atmosphere of the Spa Hotel, which is classified as one of the most beautiful in its category. Besides a tour through Anassa and Paphos, site inspections of the hotels Almyra and Annabelle, belonging to the Thanos Group, have been realized. Another item of the agenda was a guided tour to the “House of Dionysos” an Unesco World Heritage. One of the highlights was certainly a sailing trip by boat on the infinite extent of the East Mediterranean Sea. For bringing the evenings to an end the participants enjoyed cocktails and a following dinner in one of the hotel’s own restaurants, which stand for seasonal and local products.
Last weekend, an exclusive group of MICE agents enjoyed the privilege to visit some properties of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Besides the classical site inspections of the Villa Ursuala, the Hotel Excelsior and the Hotel Bellevue, on Saturday afternoon, the participants explored the beauty and the diversity of the old town Dubrovnik. After joint lunch the agents had some free time to make their personal experience. Sunday came faster than expected. Agents who booked their flight in the afternoon or later still had some time, for example to relax in the 850m² Comfort Zone Spa at the Hotel Excelsior.
From May 2-6, 2013 Abercrombie & Kent, one of the leading Destination Management Companies, along with the Tourist Board Egypt in Frankfurt and Lobster Experience, has invited a group of travel agents, tour operators and journalists to experience Egypt.
The group of ten experienced the Nile on one of the cruise ships of Sanctuary Retreats, the Sanctuary Sun Boat IV. The itinerary included visits of the famous temples of Kom Ombo, Edfu, Karnak and Luxor, as well as the Valley of the Kings and Hatschepsut Temple, all between Aswan and Luxor. Enjoying the perfect weather at 40+ °C, the group did also find time to experience life on board the luxurious Sanctuary Sun Boat IV, as well as inspect the rest of the Sanctuary fleet with Sanctuary Nile Adventurer, Sanctuary Sub Boat III and the exclusive Sanctuary Zein Nile Chateau. Guided by Abercrombie & Kent Egypt, the participants were fully convinced of Egypt being a safe country to travel to.

The excellent dinner which was served at the Ratskeller in Aachen spoiled the agents and made the evening perfect.
On April 17th an exclusive group of thrilled Lobster fans met for an exclusive evening in the restaurant “Pan e Vin” in Salzburg.
Whilst enjoying a 3-course-menu, they listened and got inspired by the stories of the charming hotel portfolio of Lobster Experience and Little Lobster.
Lobster Experience, Connoisseur Circle & Leisury celebrated with their partners, clients and friends: They invited to attend the 360° Luxury Network Event on March 6th, during ITB Berlin – this year with the premiere of the Connoisseur Circle Hospitality Awards 2013
On Wednesday evening the Lobster Group and the Management of the luxury travel magazine Connoisseur Circle welcomed their clients, partners and friends. About 400 hotel partners, tour operators, travel agents, airline and cruise partners, journalists and lifestyle partners arrived at the Berliner Freiheit next to the Potsdamer Platz in order to network and to enjoy the evening among the who is who of the luxury tourism sector. This year we celebrated the premiere of the cooperation between the Lobster Group and Connoisseur Circle as well as the premiere of the new and innovative Connoisseur Circle Award. Nominated for the awards were five hotels in each of the following categories: „Best Hospitality Boutiquehotel“ (Four Seasons Firenze), „Best Hospitality Businesshotel“ (Trump Soho New York), „Best Hospitality Designhotel“ (Alila Villas Uluwatu), „Best Hospitality Grandhotel“ (Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul) and „Best Hospitality Hideaway“ (Frégate Island Private Seychelles). During the evening our guests got spoiled by our sponsoring partners, enjoyed the delicious catering by Sarah Wiener and discussed current topics and trends in an easy atmosphere.

CROWNED WITH SUCCESS:
The ninth „Around the Globe Roadshow” of the Lobster Group took place from February, 18th until 21st 2013 – The participants travelled by private jet through Germany and Austria
In the previous week the Lobster group hosted their legendary roadshow through the German speaking market. A total of 23 partners from the international hotel and tourism industry lived up to the event’s name “Around the Globe”. Amongst the participants were the British Doyle Collection, the Seychelles Tourist Office, Brazil’s leading hotel Ponta dos Ganchos as well as NIZUC Resort & Spa based in Mexico. The successful opening night in Vienna took place on Monday, February 18th 2013, whereas the success ran like a golden thread through the roadshow cities Stuttgart, Hamburg and Munich. Guests enjoyed the flying buffet and numerous prizes, which the hoteliers provided for the raffle. The spectators thanked all participants by means of an enthusiastic applause.
On January 24th, 2013 six “Lobster friends” feasted on exquisite food in a fantastic location in Bern. The combination of presentations of our luxurious hotels and the excellent atmosphere made the evening unforgettable.
In September, Little Lobster invited travel agents, tour operators and MICE agents to attend the Little Lobster Circle Dinner Events in Speed-Dating format in Dusseldorf, Zurich, Luxembourg, Berlin and Hamburg. Also for the second time, the Little Lobster & Friends Event took place in Munich on September 20th. 130 happy guests discovered 25 luxury hotels, 1 Airline and 1 Destination Management Partner and listened to the exciting presentations.
